I am a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, and CEO.

I began my nursing career at The Hospital for Sick Children in Washington, DC, caring for medically fragile pediatric patients. It was there, in the quiet moments beside a child’s bed, that I learned the true meaning of presence. Over the years, I expanded my clinical experience across medical-surgical units, mental health facilities….

Clinical Practice

Delivering compassionate, evidence-based care across diverse settings—from pediatric hospitals to mental health clinics and home health environments. My foundation as a Registered Nurse and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner allows me to support patients holistically, ensuring safety, dignity, and emotional wellness at every stage.

Entrepreneurship

I lead multiple healthcare and wellness ventures designed to meet people where they are—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. From Aspire Behavioral Health’s psychiatric services to MME IV Lounge’s restorative therapies, Muna’s Heart Nursing’s in-home care, and KoisKloset’s fashion empowerment, each business reflects my belief that healing takes many forms.

Humanitarian Work

Through Munas Heart To Hand Foundations, I extend care beyond borders—providing life-saving medications, food, and essentials to children and adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. With over $50,000 in aid distributed and 150+ requests fulfilled, our mission is rooted in compassion and global equity, especially in underserved communities like Sierra Leone.

Education & Leadership

My academic journey—from BSN and MSN to my current pursuit of a Doctor of Nursing Practice—fuels my commitment to lead with knowledge and integrity. I believe education is a tool for transformation, and I use it to challenge systems, elevate care standards, and mentor others on their path to impact.
